Experience Mardi Gras in style, as the ULM Student Government Association hosts the Sixth Annual Mardi Gras Ball Thursday, Jan. 31 from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. in the Student Union Building Ballroom.
This year's formal, masked ball will feature a royal court, complete with king and queen. Men are required to wear a tux/suit and tie, and ladies need formal eveningwear. Everyone needs a mask, and students are encouraged to be artistic and creative. The SGA will hand out simple black masks at the door.
Entertainment includes jazz music for faculty and staff from 8 – 9 p.m. Hors d'oeuvres will be served, and the focus will be on faculty, staff and court revelry.

All guests are encouraged to see the court and royalty presentation at 9 p.m. A standing buffet will follow. DJ Trevor Land will oversee the music until 1 a.m.
Tickets for ULM students with I.D. are free and available in the SGA lobby on a first come, first served basis. They are $10 for faculty and staff with ID. Tickets are $10 for all guests. For more information, contact Joseph Beard or Hannah Livingston at: (318) 342-3485.
