Player Of The Week
K.C.A.C. Player-of-the-Week, OFFENSE: Tyler Boyd, BETHANY COLLEGE, 6-0, 200, Freshman, Quarterback, Tomball, TX. In a 30-7win at home over KANSAS WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY, Tyler Boyd completed 18 of 24 pass attempts for 196 yards and 3 touchdowns with 1 interceptions; and he also rushed 23 carries for 88 yards. He led the B.C. Swedes offense to a total of 437 yards. His presence with the passing game and his ability to run the option made it an overwhelming game for Bethany, as Bethany controlled the clock for 43 minutes with 29 first downs and 93 plays of offense. Bethany records are now 4-5 overall and 4-5 KCAC Conference, while KWU fell to 4-6 overall and 4-5 KCAC
